MERN Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js

Job Overview :

Full Stack developer with having 7+ years of experience who should be proficient in React.js, Next.js, CSS, HTML, and related technologies. Primary responsibility will be to develop user interface components and implement them following well-known React.js and Next.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).

To ensure that these components and the overall application are robust, responsive, and easy to maintain. He/She will collaborate closely with the design team to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities :

- Developing new user-facing features using React.js and Next.js

- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

Skills :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

- Thorough understanding of React.js and Next.js and their core principles

- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

- Knowledge of isomorphic React and Next.js is a plus

- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3

- Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less)

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs

- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

- A knack for benchmarking and optimization

- Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and using Jira for project management

- Experience with micro frontend architecture

Additional Advantage :

- Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express)

- Experience in building RESTful APIs with Node.js

- Knowledge of back-end development and server-side languages

- Familiarity with database management (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)

- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools (e.g., Docker,

Kubernetes)

- Understanding of full-stack development principles and the ability to work across the entire stack
