Overview :

We are hiring a backend-heavy, hands-on software engineer to join a global technology organization that builds mission-critical digital platforms for the aviation industry. The team works on large-scale systems used by airlines worldwide, focusing on reliability, automation, and performance at scale.

Role Overview :

This role is part of a Tools & Automation team, responsible for building and maintaining backend platforms that support complex internal systems. You will work close to infrastructure, own backend components end-to-end, and contribute to high-impact engineering solutions used globally.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and automation platforms

- Build and own CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and system integrations

- Work extensively with Linux environments and shell scripting

- Develop production-grade services using GoLang or Python

- Collaborate on UI integrations using React or Angular when required

- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and improve performance and reliability

- Document designs and workflows using engineering tools

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong expertise in GoLang or Python (mandatory)

- Advanced working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting

- Experience owning or designing CI/CD pipelines

- Production-level experience with Docker

- Working knowledge of JavaScript for tooling or integrations

- Exposure to React or Angular

- Strong debugging skills and a system-level problem-solving mindset

- Ability to independently own and deliver backend components
