Role Summary :
We are seeking a high-caliber Member of Technical Staff (MTS) to architect and implement the core backend infrastructure of our data security platform. In this role, you will be responsible for building highly scalable features that secure data across Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and AWS environments.
You will tackle complex distributed systems challenges, from real-time threat detection to sophisticated data governance solutions that operate without moving customer data.
The ideal candidate possesses "Deep Ownership" and a strong fundamental grasp of data structures and algorithms, with a keen interest in integrating GenAI and LLMs to redefine platform capabilities. You will not only write code but also architect the CI/CD pipelines and E2E test frameworks that ensure high reliability and zero-downtime deployments.
Responsibilities :
- Architectural Design for Scale : Design and implement highly scalable backend features capable of maintaining peak performance across diverse data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
- Advanced Threat Detection Systems : Build robust, real-time systems to process high-throughput data streams and identify suspicious access patterns or potential security breaches.
- Data Governance & Privacy : Develop sophisticated solutions for data classification and granular access control, ensuring compliance and security without relocating sensitive customer data.
- Release & Quality Automation : Architect comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test frameworks for multi-cloud environments and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated, zero-downtime releases.
- GenAI Integration : Lead the innovation of platform capabilities by integrating GenAI, LLMs, and Vector Databases into existing security workflows.
- Distributed Systems Engineering : Utilize modern design patterns to solve complex data engineering problems involving high throughput and low latency.
- AI-Assisted Development : Adopt and champion AI-assisted workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate coding, debugging, and technical documentation.
- End-to-End Feature Ownership : Own the entire feature lifecycle, from initial architectural design and whiteboarding to deployment and production monitoring.
- Collaborative Innovation : Partner with cross-functional teams to align backend developments with evolving cybersecurity threats and customer needs.
Technical Requirements :
- Backend Proficiency : 2+ years of professional experience with strong development and debugging skills in modern languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.
- Core CS Fundamentals : Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and Distributed System Design Patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event Sourcing, CAP Theorem).
- Cloud Native Architecture : Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP services and modern data platforms (Databricks/Snowflake).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and the ability to manage distributed computing technologies.
- Automation Tooling : Experience building automated test frameworks and managing containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
Preferred Skills (Bonus) :
- Generative AI Development : Practical experience building applications using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or managing high-dimensional data in Vector Databases.
- High-Scale Engineering : Proven track record of solving production-scale data problems with massive throughput requirements.
- Security Mindset : Knowledge of IAM, encryption standards, and common cloud security vulnerabilities.
