Megthink - Python Lead Developer - Flask/Django

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Python Lead Developer to lead our development team and drive the design, development, and implementation of high-quality Python applications. The ideal candidate is a strong coder, problem solver, and mentor who can guide a team of developers while ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the development team in designing, coding, testing, and deploying Python applications.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality standards.

- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and security.

- Stay updated with emerging Python technologies, frameworks, and tools.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide technical solutions.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Python and object-oriented programming.

- Experience with web frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and team management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Python asynchronous frameworks (asyncio, Celery, etc.).

- Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

- Experience in leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
