Job Description
We are looking to hire exceptionally motivated and talented professionals to join our Information Technology team and be partners in this exciting journey.
Job Location : Gurgaon.
Work Days : 6 days week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL, REDIS database systems.
- Good to have skills on MongoDb and/or MySQL but NOT Mandatory.
- Perform regular database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- Monitor and manage database backups, disaster recovery processes, and high availability solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database schema designs.
- Identify and resolve database performance issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and access controls to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
- Perform database capacity planning and provide recommendations for hardware and infrastructure upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and errors in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain documentation, including database standards, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in PostgreSQL, REDIS(Remote Dictionary Server) technologies.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in PostgreSQL, REDIS (Mandatory).
- Good to have skills on MongoDB, and SQL Server but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge and experience in database administration, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database query optimization.
- In-depth understanding of PostgreSQL, REDIS Server architectures, features, and administration tools.
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery mechanisms, high availability solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with database security practices and implementing access controls.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems and command-line tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (e.g. , AWS RDS, Azure Database Services).
