Mechispike - Senior Windchill Developer - PLM System

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and customize Windchill 10.x and above to meet business requirements.

- Develop and maintain Java J2EE applications leveraging frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.

- Develop and consume web services to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems.

- Write efficient SQL queries and database procedures to support application functionality.

- Collaborate on database design, administration, and performance optimization.

- Apply software programming skills to create and maintain host-based and web-based applications within Windchill.

- Implement quality processes and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Provide expertise in Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, and Configuration Management.

- Manage change management workflows and part management modules effectively.

- Lead or participate in large-scale Windchill implementation and data migration projects, including bulk migration.

- Debug and resolve issues in Windchill environments efficiently.

- Work closely with PTC Creo and other PTC software teams to ensure smooth integration (preferred).

Qualifications & Skills :

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Windchill design, development, and customization (version 10.x and above).

- Strong proficiency in Java J2EE, including Spring, Hibernate, and related frameworks.

- In-depth understanding of web services (SOAP/REST) development and integration.

- Proficient in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database design concepts.

- Sound knowledge of database administration principles.

- Strong experience with Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, and related modules.

- Expertise in Windchill Part Management, Change Management, and Workflow configurations.

- Proven experience in Windchill implementation, migration, and bulk data migration projects.

- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Familiarity with PTC Creo and other PTC products is an added advantage.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
