Role Overview :
As a DevOps Architect at MCO, you will serve as the technical lead for our cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies, ensuring our compliance platform remains resilient, scalable, and secure. You will work closely with engineering teams, security officers, and product managers to bridge the gap between development and operations. Your primary focus will be on designing robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code frameworks that empower our developers to ship high-quality code rapidly while maintaining the rigorous uptime and data integrity standards required by our global financial clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant cloud architectures on AWS to support the global scale of our compliance platform.
- Lead the transition toward automated infrastructure management by implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices to ensure environment consistency.
- Architect and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles while integrating automated security and compliance testing.
- Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Mentor senior engineering staff on DevOps best practices, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the technical organization.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce strict governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance standards within the production environment.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and managing complex cloud-native environments, specifically within AWS, with a deep understanding of VPCs, IAM, and container orchestration.
- Proven ability to design and maintain automated deployment workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar orchestration platforms.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Go, or Bash to streamline operational tasks.
- Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes, in production-grade environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical architectural decisions into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset that thrives in a hybrid work environment, capable of leading distributed teams through technical transformation projects.
