Role : Technology Engineer

Role Overview :

- Design, develop, and support Oracle database solutions for transactional and reporting systems

- Ensure database performance, stability, and data integrity across environments

- Collaborate with application and customer success teams to deliver reliable data solutions

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views

- Write optimized SQL queries for high-volume transactional and analytical workloads

- Design and manage database objects including indexes, partitions, constraints, and materialized views

- Perform data validation, data quality checks, and complex data transformations

- Support application teams with database design and query optimization

- Conduct code reviews and enforce database coding standards

- Perform database schema installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching

- Monitor database health, capacity, and performance

- Perform performance tuning using AWR, ASH, SQL Trace, and execution plans

- Manage users, roles, privileges, and database security

- Handle production issues, root cause analysis, and preventive actions

- Manage tablespaces, datafiles, redo logs, and archive logs

- Execute database refreshes and migrations using EXPDP and IMPDP

- Support data migration and scripting activities for customer success teams

Key Result Areas (KRAs) :

- High-performing and stable database environments

- Reduced query response time and optimized database performance

- Timely resolution of database incidents and production issues

- Improved data accuracy, quality, and consistency

- Adherence to database coding standards and best practices

- Successful delivery of database support for application and customer needs

Required Experience & Qualifications :

- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

- Experience working with production databases and support environments

- Exposure to database automation scripts and schema management

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
