Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maximo Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions within the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS). The ideal candidate will leverage strong technical skills in Maximo configuration, customization, and Core Java to enhance system functionality, integrate with other enterprise applications, and ensure the performance and security of our Maximo environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Maximo Development & Customization :

- Perform comprehensive Maximo configuration using tools like Application Designer, Domains, Escalations, Automation Scripts, and BIRT Reports.

- Develop and implement Application Enhancements and customizations using Core Java and Maximo frameworks (e.g., Java Bean Customizations).

- Design, develop, and test new REST APIs utilizing Maximo's out-of-the-box API functionalities.

- Manage and implement Maximo database configuration changes and maintain Maximo Workflow processes.

Integration & Security :

- Develop and manage integration with other applications using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).

- Administer and manage Maximo Security, ensuring adherence to organizational security policies.

Support & Optimization :

- Manage and resolve day-to-day technical issues, including troubleshooting process and functionality-related problems within the IBM Maximo Support environment.

- Analyze existing system architecture and code to identify areas for optimization, performance improvement, and standardization.

- Contribute to the new development work cycle for Maximo.

Platform Knowledge (Preferred) :

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) versions 8 and above, specifically concerning implementation, upgrade, and support projects.

- Possess knowledge of deploying and managing MAS, including familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift/Docker Images (especially for MAS 9) and the installation process for MAS 9.

IBM Maximo Development :

- IBM Maximo Development : 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing solutions using IBM Maximo.

Core Java Development :

- Core Java Development : 5+ years of experience in developing solutions using Core Java.

Technical Skills

Maximo Expertise :

- Maximo Expertise : Strong, demonstrable experience with key Maximo components : Application Designer, Domains, Escalations, Automation Scripts, BIRT Reports, Maximo Workflow, and Security Administration.

Programming & APIs :

- Programming & APIs : Proficiency in Core Java for application enhancements and experience developing REST APIs.

Integration :

- Integration : Solid understanding and practical experience with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).

Database :

- Database : Experience with Maximo database configuration changes.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) versions 8 or higher (Implementation, Upgrade, Support).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Red Hat OpenShift/Docker for managing and deploying MAS.

- Knowledge of the installation procedures for MAS 9.
