What You'll Do :


Youll lead analytical projects end-to-end, working across massive datasets to generate actionable insights.

Your work will directly impact both our internal platform and our business clients.

This is not a data engineering or reporting role it's for someone who thrives on solving ambiguous problems through deep analysis.


Problem Framing :

- Turn vague or open-ended business issues into structured analytical questions.

- Identify patterns, opportunities, and risks in large-scale restaurant and delivery datasets.

- Bring clarity to chaos and ambiguity finding insights no one else sees.


Project Leadership :


- Own projects from scratch to final delivery.

- Lead small, focused teams when needed.

- Balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking.


Analysis & Execution :

- Write complex SQL queries to explore millions of records.

- Use Python (pandas, numpy, etc.) for deeper data analysis and automation.

- Build dashboards and data stories using tools like Looker, Metabase, or Grafana.

- Conduct A/B testing, statistical modeling, and performance evaluation.

- Create repeatable analytical workflows for scaling insights.


Impact & Communication :


- Translate insights into business actions for both internal and external stakeholders.

- Communicate clearly with engineers, analysts, product, and leadership.

- Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.


What Were Looking For - Must-Haves :


- 4+ years of data analytics experience in a commercial/B2B setting.


- Strong SQL skills and ability to handle complex queries.


- Proficient in Python for data analysis (especially pandas/numpy).


- Expertise in data visualization tools (Looker, Metabase, Grafana, etc.


- Hands-on experience in A/B testing and statistics.


- Experience working with large-scale datasets and optimizing queries.


- Attention to data quality, detail, and validation.


- Strong communication and stakeholder presentation skills.


Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points) :


- Experience with BigQuery, GCP, dbt, or data pipelines (Airflow, Bruin).


- Background in machine learning/deep learning.


- Familiarity with restaurant or delivery operations.


- Campaign performance analytics or digital marketing analytics exposure.


- Understanding of data warehouse design and dimensional modeling.


What This Role Is Not :


- This is not a dashboard-only or reporting-only position.

- You wont be asked to just maintain pipelines or run scheduled reports.

Instead, youll have the freedom (and challenge) to dig deep, ask smart questions, and uncover real insights.
