The Manager - Central Analytics Team will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible in development, managing, and optimizing business analytics solutions across the organization. The incumbent will drive data-driven decision-making by delivering robust analytics, BI dashboards, and open-source applications aligned with business goals. This role demands both strategic oversight and hands-on technical involvement in Power BI, open-source platforms, and enterprise analytics solutions.

ABOUT ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :


Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of 4 - 5 professionals including Power BI developers, data engineers, and open-source application developers.

- Understand the requirement of the stake holders and disseminate the same to the team members in technical and professional development.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Project & Delivery Management :

- Oversee end-to-end analytics project lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.

- Ensure timely, quality-driven, and efficient delivery of analytics solutions.

- Define project priorities, monitor progress, and manage resource allocation.

Technical & Analytical Expertise :


- Well versed with Power BI, and know-how of open-source analytics tools, and other application development frameworks.

- Design and optimize data pipelines, BI dashboards, and analytical models for business insights.

- Ensure high-quality code, scalability, and maintainability of all developed solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Partner with functional departments (Sales, Finance, Production, HR, etc.) to understand business requirements and deliver actionable analytics.

- Serve as the key liaison between IT, data teams, and business stakeholders.

- Translate business needs into technical solutions ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.

Governance & Reporting :


- Establish data governance, documentation, and standard operating procedures for analytics operations.

- Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve analytics capabilities.

- Present project progress, outcomes, and insights to leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related discipline.

- 7 - 10 years of experience in understanding of application development, business intelligence, and analytics management.

- Proven experience leading multi-functional technical teams.

- Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and open-source analytics frameworks.

- Hands-on experience in data pipeline design, dashboard creation, and API-based data integration.

- Excellent skills in project planning, stakeholder management, and communication.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks and technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Masters degree in Data Science / Business Analytics / Technology Management.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in enterprise-scale analytics or digital transformation projects.

Working Conditions :

- Work Location : On-site, Corporate Office, Mumbai.

- Work Schedule : Six Day Week (Day Shift).

- Team Size : 45 direct reports across analytics and development roles.

- Travel : Minimal, as required for project coordination or stakeholder engagement.

- Uses Agile or hybrid methodologies for project execution.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration :


- Partners effectively with cross-functional departments (Sales, Finance, HR, Production, etc.).

- Elicits requirements and translates them into actionable analytical deliverables.

- Communicates technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.

4. Hands-on BI & Data Engineering :


- Builds and maintains Power BI dashboards, data models, and DAX calculations.

- Manages data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Integrates data from multiple sources through APIs and databases.
