Role Purpose and Strategic Context :

The IT application team is the engine room of our credit card division, providing the technological agility necessary to maintain a competitive edge in a hyper-saturated market. Your strategic objectives include :

- Architectural Resilience : Guaranteeing the continuous availability and transaction integrity of credit card applications to eliminate service disruptions and maintain customer trust.

- Business-IT Synergy : Driving commercial objectives by acting as the technical authority in cross-functional stakeholder engagements.

- Reputational Safeguarding : Upholding the banks standing through uncompromising adherence to global audit standards and security protocols.

Core Responsibilities :

- Systems Administration & Orchestration : Direct the installation, configuration, and administration of hardware, software, and network components. Monitor system performance and execute advanced troubleshooting.

- Full-Cycle SDLC & Interoperability : Lead participation in all SDLC phasesfrom requirements gathering and architectural design to development and complex integration with peripheral banking systems.

- Application Governance & Risk Mitigation : Govern implemented applications to ensure 24/7 availability while enforcing strict confidentiality and data integrity protocols.

Technical Expertise : PRIME Systems & Payment Networks :

- PRIME Systems Mastery : Comprehensive knowledge of PRIME Application architecture, including the intricate logic of its APIs, file structures, and its role in authorization and settlement.

- Card Network Proficiency : Hands-on experience with the technical protocols and compliance requirements of VISA, MasterCard, and RuPay networks.

- Payment Ecosystem Expertise : Deep understanding of the clearing and settlement ecosystem, POS integration, and the end-to-end credit card payment cycle.

Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership :

- Vendor & Global Team Orchestration : Manage functional teams and external vendors across multiple global locations.

- Multi-Stakeholder Synchronization : Act as the primary technical liaison for business units, support departments, and the banks customers.

- Strategic Requirement Scoping : Serve as the translator between the banks functional business needs and the technical capabilities of external vendors.
