Hiring: Manager Power BI

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Power BI to lead enterprise-wide business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This leadership role will be responsible for managing a team of BI professionals, driving data visualization strategies, developing scalable reporting solutions, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Power BI, data modeling, analytics architecture, and stakeholder management, along with a proven track record of leading BI teams and delivering large-scale reporting and dashboarding solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Delivery Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Power BI Developers, Data Analysts, and BI professionals.

- Drive project planning, resource allocation, and delivery governance for business intelligence initiatives.

- Establish best practices, development standards, and governance frameworks for BI solution delivery.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and performance excellence.

- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and capability-building initiatives for team members.

2. Power BI Development & Analytics:

- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytics solutions.

- Build highly interactive and visually compelling dashboards to support business decision-making.

- Develop and optimize advanced DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and custom analytics models.

- Create scalable semantic models and reusable datasets to support self-service analytics.

- Ensure optimal dashboard performance, scalability, and user experience.

3. Data Modeling & Reporting Architecture:

- Design and implement robust data models aligned with business requirements and reporting needs.

- Develop scalable reporting architectures capable of handling large and complex datasets.

- Optimize data structures, relationships, and calculations to improve reporting efficiency.

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility.

4. Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership:

- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and strategic objectives.

- Translate complex business requirements into actionable reporting and analytics solutions.

- Define KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks aligned with business goals.

- Present insights, recommendations, and analytics outcomes to senior leadership teams.

- Act as a trusted advisor for data visualization and business intelligence initiatives.

5. Data Governance & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.

- Implement row-level security, access controls, and data protection measures within BI environments.

- Establish governance processes for report development, deployment, and lifecycle management.

- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise reporting solutions.

6. Analytics Strategy & Continuous Improvement:

- Drive BI modernization initiatives and reporting transformation programs.

- Evaluate emerging BI technologies, visualization trends, and analytics best practices.

- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and business value.

- Promote self-service analytics adoption across business functions.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 12+ years of overall experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or Data Visualization.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience leading teams and managing BI projects.

- Advanced expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Strong hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced data modeling.

- Excellent SQL development and query optimization skills.

- Strong understanding of dashboard design principles and data visualization best practices.

- Experience handling large-scale datasets and enterprise reporting environments.

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
