- Proven experience building and leading cross-geo data engineering teams.
- Expert in relational and non-relational databases especially Snowflake, Redshift, SQL, Python, and data modeling best practices.
- Strong experience with Airflow, Fivetran, and ETL/ELT orchestration.
- Skilled in Tableau, Superset, and other BI visualization platforms.

What You'll Be Doing :
BI Engineering & Architecture :
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and efficiency throughout the entire data lifecycle.
- Optimize data processing workflows to handle large-scale datasets.
- Manage and scale the data warehouse, ensuring it meets analytical needs across Finance, Marketing, Product, and other functions.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
- Utilize and administer ETL tools and data orchestration platforms like Airflow and Fivetran.
Data Modeling & Analytics :
- Develop enterprise-wide semantic layers and dimensional models for reporting and analytics.
- Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements and metrics.
- Partner with Tableau developers to ensure they have clean, governed, well-modeled datasets.
- Build dashboards, analyses, and insights that support decision-making across RevOps and the business.
Leadership & Strategy :
- Build and lead a high-performing data engineering team across multiple geographies.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members to enhance skills, ownership, and productivity.
- Define the BI vision, standards, and roadmap aligned with RevOps and corporate data strategy.
- Manage sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery timelines for all BI initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to align data efforts with revenue, product, and operational goals.
Technical & Vendor Management :
- Write and review code in Node.js and Python to support data integration and transformation.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to define data ingestion and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts with data vendors and service providers.
- Manage billing and cost structures associated with data services.
- Provide insights into trade-offs between big data technologies and architecture choices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Partner with Product Managers and Technical Leads to ensure alignment between data initiatives and business outcomes.
- Work closely with AI, Reporting, and Analytics teams to create a unified, governed, and efficient data ecosystem.
- Enable self-service analytics through well-documented datasets and standardized reporting structures.
Continuous Improvement :
- Champion automation, version control, and continuous delivery of BI assets.
- Establish monitoring, testing, and alerting systems for data quality and uptime.
- Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team by encouraging exploration of new technologies and methodologies.

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field is required, along with 3+ years of proven leadership and team management experience.
- The candidate should have an overall experience of 10+ years.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale large data infrastructures (50-100+ TB).
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and advanced SQL.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Fivetran, Airflow) and data warehouses (Snowflake or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of data integration from diverse sources and APIs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across all levels.
- Understanding of data service billing models, vendor management, and cost optimization.
- Commitment to data quality, security, and privacy compliance.
