Job Title : Azure QA Engineer.

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Azure QA Engineer to validate and ensure the robustness, security, and performance of our end-to-end platform.

The role will involve testing across APIs, data ingestion pipelines, backend services, infrastructure components, and Azure services.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automated testing, API validation, data quality checks, and performance analysis in Azure-based environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Overall Responsibilities :

- Automate API and data testing processes.

- Perform security, performance, and integration testing.

- Collaborate closely with data engineers, API developers, and stakeholders to execute test cases effectively.

Technical Responsibilities :

- Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, and Azure API Management Portal.

- Develop data validation scripts using PySpark, Python, and SQL.

- Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines for automated execution.

- Recommend and implement automated testing tools deployable on Azure Data Platform.

- Set up automated data quality checks.

- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing for identified scenarios.

- Document and present test results to stakeholders, ensuring clarity on test status and outcomes.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 58 years of experience in QA and testing, with at least 23 years in Azure-based platforms.

- Strong proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Azure API Management Portal).

- Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL for test automation and data validation.

- Experience integrating test cases into CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools for Azure Data Platform.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Azure DevOps for test management and automation.

- Experience in performance and security testing.

- Familiarity with data lake, data warehouse, and big data testing.
