LotVue India - Ruby on Rails Developer

Responsibilities :

- Designing and developing new features

- Maintaining and enhancing existing features

- Testing and deploying code

- Creating back-end components

- Integrating user-facing elements

- Designing user interactions on web pages

- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices

- Ensuring performance of applications

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English

- Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code

- Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, Github

- Familiarity with MVC, REST

- Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3 and Bootstrap framework

- Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL)

- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum)

- Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu

It Would Be A Plus If You Also Have :

- Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React

- Experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx

- Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS)

- Experience in developing and maintaining APIs
