Role : System Engineer - Linux (Hardware & Infrastructure Support) - Immediate Joiner

They build ultra-low latency trading systems and advanced infrastructure to gain a measurable competitive edge in global financial markets. Their engineering teams operate at the bleeding edge of hardware and software, where microseconds matter and every tuning decision has real market impact.
Location : Bengaluru
Role & Responsibilities :
- Assemble, deploy, and maintain servers, desktops, workstations, and laptops.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL/Ubuntu).
- Perform hardware upgrades, diagnostics, and component replacements.
- Manage IT asset inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking, including IP addressing, VLANs, routing, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, NTP, and SNMP.
- Coordinate with hardware vendors for procurement, RMA, and support.
- Document infrastructure, hardware, and software changes.
Required Skills :
- Hands-on experience assembling and troubleshooting servers and desktop hardware.
- Good working knowledge of Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).
- Basic to intermediate understanding of computer networking and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with switches, routers, and firewall concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in a High-Frequency Trading (HFT) or low-latency trading environment.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware (Dell, Supermicro, Lenovo, HPE, etc.).
- Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, or KVM.
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools and best practices.
