- Perform server patching, lifecycle management, inventory tracking, and license compliance across large-scale enterprise infrastructure consisting of physical and virtual servers.

- Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize infrastructure to ensure SLA compliance and operational efficiency.

Red Hat Satellite & Automation :

- Administer Red Hat Satellite infrastructure including lifecycle environments, patch management, software repositories, compliance policies, and system provisioning.

- Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible, Shell scripting, and reusable playbooks to streamline patching, user management, compliance checks, and system hardening.

- Develop automated pre/post patch validation processes, health checks, and compliance monitoring aligned with CIS and organizational security standards.

- Maintain and enhance Ansible roles, CIS hardening scripts, and automation frameworks for RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 environments.

Security, Compliance & Governance :

- Implement and enforce CIS benchmark standards, SSH hardening, file permission controls, journald configurations, and enterprise security policies across Linux infrastructure.

- Support vulnerability remediation, compliance audits, and regulatory readiness through automation and standardized operational procedures.

- Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and compliance reports for server patching, upgrades, and security hardening activities.

High Availability, Clustering & Disaster Recovery :

- Support clustered server environments ensuring proper node management, patch coordination, and seamless service availability.

- Manage backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, snapshot management, and failover validation processes.

- Participate in disaster recovery drills, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA) for critical production issues.

Technical Leadership & SME Responsibilities :

- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Red Hat Satellite, Linux administration, and Ansible automation.

- Provide technical guidance, escalation support, troubleshooting expertise, and root cause resolution for complex infrastructure issues.

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, mentoring, and technical training for junior engineers and operations teams.

- Drive automation-first initiatives and continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Client Engagement & Project Delivery :

- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders for infrastructure implementations, requirement gathering, and project execution.

- Lead clean-room (air-gapped) Satellite deployments, process standardization, and operational optimization initiatives.

- Work with cross-functional teams on infrastructure migrations, OpenShift onboarding, hybrid cloud initiatives, and enterprise platform modernization.
