About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and KVM, with the ability to manage and support Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Total Experience : 8 - 13 years

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, maintain, and support Linux servers across RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu environments.

- Manage Linux infrastructure in hybrid cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and system hardening.

- Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance, ensuring high system reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, networking, storage, and application-related issues.

- Manage virtualization environments using VMware and KVM.

- Automate routine administration and operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, processes, services, and system configurations.

- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

- Monitor and analyze system logs to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.

- Collaborate with cloud, network, security, and application teams to support enterprise infrastructure.

- Implement security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and OS-level controls.

- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.

- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in Linux System Administration.

- Strong hands-on experience with RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu.

- Experience managing Linux infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Strong knowledge of VMware and KVM virtualization.

- Good understanding of Linux networking, storage, file systems, and system performance.

- Experience with server patching, upgrades, hardening, and troubleshooting.

- Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting and system automation.

- Experience with monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

- Strong understanding of security concepts and Linux system hardening.

- Experience supporting production and hybrid cloud environments.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
