As an Team Lead of engineering at Lightcast, you will be a crucial member of our Engineering team, contributing to our mission by helping to build and develop innovative solutions.

This role is tailored for individuals with a strong foundation in engineering and leadership capabilities at the associate manager level.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering projects and deliver impactful results.

Major Responsibilities :

- Project Leadership : Lead engineering projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring successful and on-time delivery.

- Technical Oversight : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

- Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.

- Problem-Solving : Identify and address technical challenges, offering creative and effective solutions.

- Process Improvement : Contribute to process enhancement initiatives, optimizing workflows and ensuring efficiency.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for engineering projects and processes.

- Quality Assurance : Ensure engineering projects meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing and validation.

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, with demonstrated leadership skills at the associate manager level.

Skills/Abilites :

- Strong technical proficiency in software development, with expertise in programming languages and frameworks.( Java,AWS,Python)

- Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative approach to technical challenges.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts and project updates.

- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and delivering robust engineering solutions.
