Liferay Full Stack Developer

About Client :

Work exp: 7yrs to 12 years(Cloudflare/Akamai, WAF migration exp. is must)

Job Description :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Liferay DXP solutions using Java, Spring Boot, HTML, jQuery, and JavaScript.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver high-quality software products.

- Development experience of Portal using Liferay out of box portlets, Liferay MVC Portlets, Spring MVC portlets, JSR 286 Portlet, Spring Boot, react modules. OSGi microservice Modules depending on the requirement.

- Must have working experience on Liferay Client extension, all the OOTB features like Object, Form, Fragments, templates.

- Complete knowledge of Liferay Control panels, System and Instance Configurations.

- Experience in Integrating Liferay with different third-party applications using Web services/REST API, Liferay Headless API.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices throughout the development process.

- Strong understanding of Liferay DXP architecture and its components (Portals, Content Management).

- Proficiency in writing clean, modularized code that follows industry-standard design patterns.

- Liferay Integration Experience with different third-party applications using REST API/Web Services.

- Experienced in Jenkins, Sonar, Build Management (Maven/Gradle) and Junit.

- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases an added advantage.

- Liferay Certification would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work with Cloudflare or Akamai for CDN configuration and application performance/security enhancement.

- Lead and manage WAF migration projects, ensuring secure application deployment and traffic routing.

- Develop using Liferay MVC Portlets, Spring MVC, JSR 286 Portlets, and OSGi Microservices.

- Utilize Liferay Client Extensions and implement OOTB features such as Objects, Forms, Fragments, and Templates.

- Manage Liferay Control Panel settings, including System and Instance Configurations.

- Integrate Liferay with external systems and third-party services using REST APIs, Web Services, and Liferay Headless APIs.

- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following industry-standard design patterns and best practices.

- Utilize Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, and JUnit for CI/CD and quality assurance processes.

- Work with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL; NoSQL experience is a plus.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver robust enterprise portal solutions.

- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance through proper cloud and WAF configurations.
