Leuwint Technologies - Oracle Data Engineer - ETL/SQL

Job Description :

- Minimum 6 years of experience in data engineering and analytics

- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and OCI Big Data Platform

- Proficiency in Spark, PySpark, Hive, and SQL

- Deep understanding of data integration, ETL pipelines, and data modeling techniques

- Experience working with large-scale data systems and cloud-based architectures

- Familiarity with data security, access control, and compliance best practices

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Create robust database structures, schemas, and data models using Oracle Database technologies to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

- Develop, schedule, and monitor ETL workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or PL/SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Perform tuning of Oracle queries, stored procedures, and indexes to enhance the speed and efficiency of data processing and storage.

- Implement validation rules, data governance standards, and security protocols to maintain high-quality, compliant, and secure datasets.

- Work closely with data analysts, architects, and business units to understand requirements and deliver scalable, reliable Oracle data solutions.

- Integrate on-premise Oracle databases with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure for hybrid data solutions.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration of data workflows.

- Ensure high availability and performance of Oracle databases through tuning and monitoring.

- Utilize tools like Oracle Golden Gate or Oracle Streams to enable real-time data replication and change tracking across systems.

- Design and implement long-term data archiving strategies using Oracle ILM (Information Lifecycle Management.

- Develop solutions for moving data between Oracle and other platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL) via DB links or APIs.
