Drive the quality assurance and testing efforts for payment solutions by designing, developing, and implementing robust automation and manual test strategies. Leverage deep expertise in API, UI, and protocol testing to ensure delivery of reliable and scalable software within the Payments Domain.

What Part Will You Play?

- Lead the design, development, and execution of automated and manual test cases for payment applications and services.

- Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive quality coverage across all projects.

- Perform API testing, host protocol testing (ISO 8583, Base64, etc.), and database validations.

- Develop and maintain test frameworks using Java/Python, JUnit, and Selenium.

- Mentor junior QA and SDET team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify potential risks.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

- Extensive experience in automation and manual testing in large-scale, mission-critical payment systems.

- Deep knowledge of API testing, protocol testing (ISO 8583, Base64), and experience with Java or Python for test automation.

- Strong experience in UI testing with Selenium and cloud awareness (GCP or similar).

- Proven ability to design and optimize test frameworks and strategies.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams.

- Experience with database validation, including DDL and DML for PostgreSQL or any database.

Job Complexity:

- Responsible for designing complex automated and manual test solutions, handling multiple projects simultaneously.

- Troubleshoot critical issues and contribute to architectural decisions regarding quality assurance for payment systems.

- Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure end-to-end test coverage.

Supervision:

- Mentor and guide junior SDET and QA engineers.

- Oversee and coordinate testing activities, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BE / B Tech / MCA

Preferred Qualifications: Skills / Knowledge:

- Automation / Manual Testing, API Testing, JUnit, Host Protocol Testing (ISO 8583, Base64 etc), Java / Python

- UI Testing, Selenium, GCP (or any cloud awareness).

- Experience with DDL, and DML for PostgreSQL and/or any database

- Proficiency with development tools such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code

- Payment domain knowledge is an added advantage
