About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Development Engineer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The role requires strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET development, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed messaging technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong software engineering background and the ability to take ownership of technical solutions, guide development activities, and contribute to scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.

- Develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services using modern .NET development practices.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between applications, services, and external systems.

- Develop and maintain microservices-based applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Design and implement asynchronous and event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.

- Lead the development of complex software components and provide technical direction to other developers.

- Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and development best practices.

- Identify and resolve complex technical issues across application components and integrations.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis to ensure long-term resolution.

- Develop efficient, reusable, and maintainable code while ensuring application performance and reliability.

- Work closely with architects, product teams, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Contribute to improving development processes, engineering standards, and overall software quality.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

- Ensure solutions are designed with appropriate considerations for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.

- Strong software development and engineering experience.

- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka.

- Good understanding of distributed systems and service-to-service communication.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Experience in a lead-level software engineering role is preferred.

- Ability to take ownership of technical deliverables and complex development initiatives.

- Ability to guide developers and conduct effective code reviews.

Candidate Requirements :

- 6 - 10 years of relevant software development experience.

- Strong C#/.NET development expertise.

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices.

- Experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka.

- Lead-level experience is preferred.

- B.E./B.Tech candidates are preferred.
