Role Overview:

- Looking for an experienced RAN Lead Engineer with strong expertise in 5G NR and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) having 6-8 years of experience.

- The candidate will lead end-to-end validation, troubleshooting, and integration activities for advanced 5G features and NTN.

- The role requires strong technical leadership and coordination across multiple teams, experience in E2E setup creation, and knowledge of IP topology.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of 5G NR and NTN.

- Well versed with 5G Feature test planning, execution and analysis.

- Should be experienced in handling of a team of 2-3 test engineers.

- Testing experience on setups like L1 bypass and with L1 (OTA environment).

- In E2E OTA testing: Handling of Commercial UEs, RF BOX, PVA and RU etc.

- Strong understanding of L2 (RLC/MAC)/FAPI/nFAPI log analysis.

- Expertise in E2E call flow analysis and protocol troubleshooting.

- TOOL hands-on: Keysight/Simnovus/Viavi/QXDM/XCAL.

- Leadership experience in handling telecom validation/integration teams.

- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead 5G NR & NTN testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

- Feature test planning, execution & analysis.

- Analyze and debug E2E call flows, protocol procedures, and network issues.

- Work on 5G NR advance features, NTN and Mobility procedures.

- Coordinate with multiple teams for issue resolution.

- Review logs/traces and perform root cause analysis (RCA).

- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.

Preferred/Good to have:

- Strong understanding of 5G NR, NTN 3GPP spec and FAPI.

- Basics of Python scripting & automation.

- Strong understanding of L2 (RLC/MAC)/FAPI/nFAPI log analysis.

- Work on NTN concepts and use cases.
