Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Python Lead to oversee the development of scalable, high-performance applications and mentor a team of Python developers.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, backend frameworks, and architecture design, with hands-on experience in building complex applications, APIs, and integrations.

This role requires technical leadership, architectural vision, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Python-based applications and microservices

- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes for the Python team

- Architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance systems, including RESTful APIs and integrations

- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and promote knowledge sharing within the team

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Python applications for performance, scalability, and reliability

- Implement and enforce security, logging, and monitoring best practices

- Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile development methodologies

- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to influence architecture decisions

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Python and Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI

- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture

- Proficiency with databases (SQL : PostgreSQL, MySQL; NoSQL : MongoDB, Redis)

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying Python applications in the cloud

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest)

- Familiarity with message queues / event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery)

- Understanding of security best practices for backend applications
