Lead .Net Developer - ASP/MVC

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead .NET Developer with expertise in developing robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using the Microsoft technology stack. This role demands a hands-on technologist with in-depth knowledge of .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web Forms, Web APIs, and modern front-end frameworks such as React. The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership in architectural design, implementation strategies, and end-to-end software delivery within an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade, scalable .NET applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web Forms, and REST/SOAP APIs.

- Deliver clean, testable, and well-documented code across the full software development lifecycle with minimal oversight.

- Lead and mentor a team of software developers, guiding them on architecture, code reviews, and best practices.

- Architect and implement front-end components using React, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS3, and HTML5.

- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to define, design, and ship new features aligned with business objectives.

- Integrate applications with SQL Server (2014/2017) using advanced T-SQL, stored procedures, and relational database design.

- Utilize Azure DevOps, Git, and TFS for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item tracking.

- Apply Object-Oriented Design principles, design patterns, and modern software engineering best practices.

- Troubleshoot application issues and lead root cause analysis for production support.

- Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding practices.

- Maintain detailed documentation for supported applications, architecture, and processes.

- Ensure compliance with corporate standards in change/configuration management, security, and quality.

- Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests, ensuring test coverage and quality assurance.

Technical Skills and Tools :

Back-End :

- ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework (MVC, Web Forms, Web API)

- RESTful and SOAP-based APIs

- C#, T-SQL

- XML, XSLT

Front-End :

- JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

- React.js (preferred)

- Experience with Angular, Node.js, or Ember.js is a plus

DevOps and SDLC Tools :

- Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines)

- Git, TFS, JIRA

- Visual Studio 2017 and above

Database :

- Microsoft SQL Server (2014/2017)

- Strong knowledge of relational database design, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization

Desired Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-grade .NET applications.

- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance tuning, and application security.

- Ability to interpret business requirements and map them to technical solutions.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
