We are seeking a skilled and proactive Monitoring Lead Analyst to spearhead infrastructure monitoring operations and mentor a team of junior analysts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading monitoring platforms and a strong foundation in OS administration. This role involves setting up proactive monitoring strategies, optimizing alert workflows, and driving continuous improvement in system observability.


Responsibilities :


- Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of monitoring tools including SolarWinds, ManageEngine, and Zabbix

- Define monitoring standards and thresholds for system performance, network health, and application uptime

- Mentor L1/L2 monitoring analysts and guide incident triage, resolution, and escalation protocols

- Collaborate with system and network admin teams to ensure holistic infrastructure coverage

- Perform deep-dive analysis of recurring issues and initiate problem management workflows

- Conduct periodic audits of monitoring coverage and reporting efficiency

- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for availability and performance KPIs

- Support OS-level diagnostics and root cause analysis across Windows/Linux platforms


Qualifications :


- Strong understanding of OS administration (Windows and/or Linux)

- Proficiency in SolarWinds, ManageEngine, and Zabbix including agent setup, SNMP configurations, and alert customizations

- Familiarity with automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and integration with ITSM tools

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Proven leadership experience in NOC or infrastructure monitoring environments

- 4-7 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or mentoring role

- Certifications in OS administration or monitoring tools are a plus (e.g., SolarWinds Certified Professional)
