About the Role :

We are looking for a Mobile App Lead Developer to take ownership of the design, architecture, and development of our next-generation mobile applications.

This is a pivotal role where you'll lead a cross-platform team (iOS and Android), define technical direction, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, high-performing mobile experiences.

You will be responsible for the full development lifecyclefrom initial architecture to deployment, optimization, and maintenance.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment and is passionate about modern mobile engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end development of high-quality native mobile apps for iOS and Android.

- Design and implement scalable architectures using modern patterns (e.g., MVVM with SwiftUI, MVI with Jetpack Compose).

- Create and maintain modular, reusable component libraries and shared frameworks.

- Mentor and support a team of mobile engineers through code reviews, technical sessions, and pair programming.

- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features that align with business goals and user needs.

- Integrate third-party SDKs and internal services (GraphQL, REST APIs).

- Ensure high standards of performance, reliability, security, and maintainability in all codebases.

- Champion CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment best practices across mobile platforms.

- Evaluate and adopt modern tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance developer productivity.

- Provide regular reports on team progress, code quality, and release status to leadership.

- Oversee app releases to the App Store and Google Play, including versioning, compliance, and deployment strategies.

Technical Requirements :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in native mobile development with Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).

- Strong command of SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Swift Package Manager, and architectural patterns like MVVM and MVI.

- Experience in building and maintaining shared UI/component libraries for cross-platform use.

- Proficiency in GraphQL, including schema design, client integration, and caching strategies.

- Familiarity with cloud-based services such as AWS, Firebase, and backend-as-a-service platforms.

- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, A/B testing, and remote config strategies.

- Strong grasp of mobile performance optimization, accessibility, and UX best practices.

- Experience with mobile analytics and observability tools (e.g., Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics).

- Sound understanding of security and privacy best practices on mobile platforms.

- Proven track record of releasing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills; contributor to internal tooling or open-source projects is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience leading agile development teams.

- Prior work in startup or fast-growth environments.

- Familiarity with cross-platform solutions (e.g., Flutter, React Native) is a bonus.
