Lead Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Java Developer to design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Java-based technologies with leadership skills to guide development teams, drive best practices, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications using modern frameworks and best practices.

- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior and mid-level developers.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Participate in system design discussions, technical decision-making, and roadmap planning.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide long-term solutions.

- Ensure applications meet security, performance, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Java (8+), Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Proven experience leading development teams and delivering complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Prior experience in performance optimization and system scalability.
