Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Java Developer to join our engineering team. The role involves leading the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems while mentoring team members and contributing to architectural decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end design and development of Java-based applications

- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior and mid-level developers

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders

- Translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions

- Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and security through regular reviews

- Define and enforce coding standards and best practices

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance

- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies

- Support hiring, onboarding, and technical evaluations of team members

Requirements :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development

- Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring, and Spring Boot

- Experience designing and developing microservices-based architectures

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integrations

- Experience with Hibernate / JPA

- Strong database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Good understanding of system design, performance tuning, and scalability

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
