Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, build, and own high-scale distributed services

- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka

- Define and manage API standards using API Gateway

- Own technical decisions, system design, and service health metrics

- Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers

Required Skills & Experience :

8+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems

Strong expertise in :

- Java (Java 11+)

- Spring Boot framework

- Microservices architecture

Hands-on experience with :

- Kafka in high-throughput environments

- REST API design and development

Strong experience with :

- API Gateway and API lifecycle management

Expertise in AWS services such as :

- DynamoDB, EKS, SQS, Lambda, S3

Proven experience with :

- High-volume, distributed systems

- Performance tuning and debugging

- Strong system design and problem-solving skills

- Ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives

Domain Requirement :

Experience in Payments / FinTech domain (preferred)

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation

- Knowledge of caching strategies and data modeling

- Exposure to system optimization and scalability patterns

Education Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline
