Role Overview :
As the Lead - EUC & Device Strategy, you will be responsible for defining and executing the company's end-user computing (EUC) and device strategy, ensuring a secure, efficient, and productive environment for all employees.
You will collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable plans. This role directly impacts employee satisfaction and productivity by providing the right tools and technologies to enable them to perform their jobs effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain the organization's EUC and device strategy, aligning it with business goals and technological advancements.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new EUC technologies and devices, ensuring compatibility and security.
- Manage the lifecycle of all end-user devices, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Define and enforce device security policies and procedures to protect company data and assets.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex EUC-related issues and provide expert guidance.
- Monitor and analyze EUC performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in EUC and device management.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for EUC-related products and services.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful EUC and device strategies in a complex enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise in managing the lifecycle of end-user devices, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
- Strong understanding of device security principles and best practices, including mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with device driver management and troubleshooting.
- 8- 10 years of relevant experience in EUC and device management.
