About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of complex, high-performance products. The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on technologist with expertise in Python, Node.js, or Golang, along with proven experience building and scaling applications on AWS.

You will lead by example guiding engineers, influencing technical strategy, and ensuring best practices while working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, distributed systems.

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Designers to define and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.

- Perform code reviews, provide architectural guidance, and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

- Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Take ownership of technical deliverables, ensuring timely and reliable execution.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies, suggesting improvements to enhance product capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 610 years of professional software development experience, preferably in product-based companies.

- Expertise in at least one backend language: Python, Node.js, or Golang.

- Strong experience in designing, building, and scaling microservices and distributed systems.

- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, etc.).

- Excellent understanding of system design, data structures, algorithms, and cloud-native architectures.

- Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to event-driven systems, messaging, or streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).

- Track record of delivering high-impact solutions in fast-paced product environments.

- Open-source contributions or speaking at tech meetups/conferences.
