Lead Engineer - C/C++

Job Description :

Looking for 4-6 years experience engineer with air traffic systems background. Responsible for trouble shooting the issues, resolving issues and developing new software features in Ada in an existing Ada software product baseline.

Detailed Technical requirement :

- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle and warranty support using these languages : C/C++; Ada; Java; and Python; while programming in a Unix/Linux based development environment.

- Prior experience in software testing and debugging source code, including familiarity with ClearCase/ClearQuest, Git, Jira, and Bitbucket for configuration management and workflow management.

- Knowledge of Unix, Red Hat Linux, SQL, Matlab, bash/ksh scripting.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain software features using Ada and C++ in an existing air traffic control software baseline.

- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex software issues in Unix/Linux environments.

- Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and support.

- Ensure quality through debugging, unit testing, and warranty support activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile development practices.

- Utilize tools like ClearCase, Git, Jira, Bitbucket, and ClearQuest for version control and workflow management.

- Leverage scripting (bash/ksh), SQL, and Unix tools for automation and analysis.

- Work in Red Hat Linux systems and apply knowledge of Matlab for simulation or modeling when required.
