Shift : 2 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM IST (Flexible)

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Lead Engineer - AI Platforms & Intelligent Systems to drive the development of scalable, production-grade AI solutions. This role combines hands-on backend engineering, system architecture, and team leadership to deliver impactful AI-driven applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust, high-performance AI systems.

What Youll Do :

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving technical excellence

- Own delivery of AI-powered solutions from design to production

- Architect and build scalable backend systems and microservices

- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications and workflows

- Collaborate with product and data teams to define technical solutions

- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

- Establish best practices in coding, system design, and deployment

- Manage technical priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations

Core Requirements :

- 6+ years of backend development experience in Python / Node.js / Java / Go

- Strong experience building scalable distributed systems

- Proven exposure to AI/ML-based applications or intelligent systems

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform

- 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams

Technical Skills :

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

- Knowledge of data handling for AI-driven applications

- Familiarity with deploying and scaling applications on cloud environments

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to Generative AI / LLM-based solutions

- Experience with AI integrations (APIs, models, or platforms)

- Understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React, etc.)

- Background in product or startup environments
