Job Description :

We are looking for a highly motivated Lead DevOps Engineer with 56 years of hands-on experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation, Git branching strategies, and pipeline configuration, along with a passion for adopting modern DevOps practices.

While prior Salesforce experience is beneficial, candidates with a strong interest in learning Salesforce DevOps are encouraged to apply.

This role requires an individual who can streamline software delivery processes, automate deployment workflows, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Develop and optimize automated build, test, and deployment workflows.

- Define and manage Git branching strategies such as GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development.

- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot YAML pipeline configurations.

- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Shell scripting, and Python.

- Manage source code repositories using GitHub and Azure DevOps Repos.

- Monitor deployment pipelines and resolve build or release issues efficiently.

- Collaborate with development teams to improve release quality and deployment efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, version control standards, and release governance.

- Support the adoption of DevOps practices within the Salesforce ecosystem and continuously learn Salesforce deployment methodologies.

Required Technical Skills :

1. CI/CD & DevOps :

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.

- Experience designing and managing automated CI/CD workflows.

- Knowledge of build automation and deployment lifecycle management.

2. Version Control :

- Expert-level proficiency in GitHub and Azure DevOps Repositories.

- Strong understanding of source code management and collaboration workflows.

3. Git Branching Strategy :

- Proven experience implementing and managing GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development.

- Ability to establish and enforce branching and release management best practices.

4. Scripting & Automation :

- Professional proficiency in Bash and Shell scripting.

- Experience automating deployment and operational tasks.

5. Pipeline Configuration :

- Hands-on expertise in writing, debugging, and maintaining YAML pipeline definitions.

6. Programming :

- Foundational Python programming skills for developing automation scripts and utilities.

7. Salesforce :

- Basic Salesforce knowledge or a strong willingness to learn Salesforce DevOps processes and deployment methodologies.

Required Qualifications :

- 5 to 6 years of professional DevOps experience.

- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and release automation.

- Experience with Bash, Shell scripting, YAML, and Python.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps best practices.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to Salesforce deployment processes.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving DevOps practices.
