One-Line Role Summary :

Lead the design and automation of scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC tools, ensuring secure, efficient, and standardized cloud operations.

Technical Skill Matrix :

Primary Skills (Mandatory) :

- IaC & Automation : Strong hands-on experience designing and provisioning infrastructure via Terraform (integrated with GitHub Actions preferred), CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

- Kubernetes Containerization : Robust experience managing and administering production Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE). Must have deep expertise in Helm, ingress controllers, autoscaling, and cluster networking.

- CI/CD Troubleshooting : Deep technical proficiency in building, maintaining, and fixing infrastructure pipelines and application integration workflows.

- Scripting : Hands-on automation scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Secondary Skills :

- MultiCloud Infrastructure : Functional knowledge and operational capability across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Additional Advantageous Skills :

- OS Administration : Core Compute Administration skills across both Windows and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations :

L3 & Leadership Expectations :

- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cloud infrastructure containerization and automation standardization.

- Provide technical guidance, drive reusable module frameworks, and enforce governance best practices.

- Mentor engineering teams to enable scalable, secure cloud-native adoption.

Engineering & Cloud Operations :

- Infrastructure Provisioning : Build and deploy automated, scalable, and secure cloud environments using IaC. Integrate configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) into workflows.

- Workload Management : Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized microservices across multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability.

- Security & Optimization : Align infrastructure with compliance standards. Implement version control via Git, execute cost-optimization (FinOps) initiatives, and support disaster recovery/replication setups.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Understanding of cloud security frameworks, governance models, and hybrid architectures.

- Experience with monitoring and observability suites (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor).
