Job Title : Lead Backend Engineer

Location : Hyderabad Hybrid

Role Overview :

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Backend Engineer to architect, develop, and lead backend engineering initiatives for enterprise-scale digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in C#, .NET, Node.js, and modern database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server), with strong exposure to Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

As a hands-on technical leader, you will be responsible for guiding teams in building high-performance, secure, and scalable backend architectures, ensuring code quality, automation, and technical excellence across all development phases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using C#/.NET and Node.js.

- Define and implement architecture frameworks to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Drive DevOps adoption including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-native deployments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, QA, and DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Mentor and lead a team of engineers, promoting best practices in coding, design patterns, and software craftsmanship.

- Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to standards, and continuously improve the development process.

- Lead efforts in system optimization, performance tuning, and monitoring for high-availability systems.

- Work closely with architecture teams to align backend solutions with business goals and enterprise vision.

- Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and introduce innovative solutions to improve platform efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience :

Total Experience : 9+ years in software development with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.

Technical Expertise :

Languages/Frameworks : C#, .NET Core, Node.js

Databases : MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

DevOps & Cloud : CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP

Architecture : Microservices, RESTful API design, Event-driven systems, Domain-driven design

- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, version control (Git), and test automation.

- Experience in leading agile development teams and driving technical delivery.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
