Lead Backend Engineer - Java/Spring Boot

What you need to do :

- Own and drive backend projects end-to-endfrom whiteboard brainstorming to highly available production systems.

- Design and build cloud-native microservices that are resilient, observable, and horizontally scalable.

- Move fast, ship oftencollaborate in a high-velocity environment with short iteration cycles and frequent A/B testing.

- Work with petabyte-scale data, leveraging Redshift and other AWS-native analytics tools to power intelligent product decisions.

- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into product workflows to unlock smarter, more personalized user experiences.

- Collaborate with a strong team of engineers, contributing to code reviews, design reviews, and technical culture.

Who you need to be :

- 8 years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production systems at scale.

- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem, with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems design.

- Experienced in building event-driven, distributed systems using Kafka, Redis, and message brokers.

- Skilled in relational databases like MySQL and hands-on with schema design and optimization

- Deep experience managing infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)

Bonus : Experience integrating with LLMs, vector databases, or building ML pipelines
