Lead Backend Engineer - C#/TypeScript

Job Overview :

Position : Lead Backend Engineer

Location : Hyderabad (Global Capability Center with Aeries)

Shift : 12 PM 9 PM IST

Mode : Hybrid (with some travel possible)

This role involves working on high-impact, greenfield products for top global sports brands, building scalable systems from scratch, and shaping fan engagement worldwide.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write clean, reusable, high-quality code and help define coding standards.

- Lead technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.

- Set up frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers.

- Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering Managers to define scope and solutions.

- Promote a blameless, continuous improvement culture.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in sports tech.

Requirements :

- 8+ years software engineering experience.

- Strong in C# & TypeScript (Node.js).

- Database experience : MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

- Exposure to a frontend framework (React/Angular/Vue).

- Knowledge of software architecture & design patterns for scalable systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps culture (CI/CD, automation, platform engineering).

- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

- Passion for sports and sports business.
