About the Role :

Were looking for a Lead Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Java and AWS to architect and scale backend systems for a fast-growing fintech product. This is a high-impact leadership role where youll own backend strategy, guide engineering decisions, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable backend architecture using Java and AWS

- Lead backend development efforts across product modules

- Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration

- Optimize performance, security, and reliability of backend systems

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices

- Drive technical decisions and roadmap planning with leadership

Requirements :

- 5- 10 years of backend development experience

- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, etc.)

- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver high-quality code

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Immediate availability for interviews and onboarding
