Role Overview :

As a Lead Administrator HP Storage L1 (B3), you will be instrumental in ensuring the robust and efficient operation of critical storage infrastructure for our clients.

This role involves comprehensive day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimization of HP Storage and SAN environments, alongside expertise in NetApp and NetBackup solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams, project managers, and system architects to maintain high availability, performance, and data integrity.

Your contributions will directly impact the stability and reliability of enterprise data services, supporting core business operations and ensuring seamless data access for end-users and applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain complex HP Storage and SAN environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security for enterprise applications.

- Manage and configure NetApp storage systems, including provisioning, replication, and performance tuning to meet evolving business demands.

- Oversee NetBackup operations, including policy management, job scheduling, troubleshooting, and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data assets.

- Implement and manage Linux-based storage solutions and integrate them seamlessly with existing infrastructure.

- Conduct proactive Capacity Planning for storage resources, analyzing trends and forecasting future requirements to prevent service disruptions.

- Develop, test, and refine Disaster Recovery strategies and procedures for storage systems, ensuring business continuity and data resilience.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related incidents and problems, utilizing ServiceNow for efficient incident and change management.

- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, change, and release management, contributing to a structured and efficient operational environment.

- Collaborate with infrastructure architects and application teams to design and implement new storage solutions and upgrades.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in the administration and management of HP Storage solutions, including SAN technologies.

- Proficient understanding and hands-on experience with NetApp storage systems and their associated management tools.

- Strong command of NetBackup for enterprise data protection, including backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.

- Advanced skills in Linux operating system administration, particularly in storage integration and management contexts.

- Proven ability in Capacity Planning methodologies and tools to optimize storage utilization and predict future needs.

- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in designing and implementing Disaster Recovery solutions for storage infrastructure.

- Familiarity with ITIL framework and its application in IT service management, particularly incident, problem, and change management.

- Proficiency in using ServiceNow for ticketing, incident resolution, and change management processes.

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

- Strong collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a team and across different functional groups.
