Role : Laravel Software Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Laravel Software Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to join our development team in Gurugram.

The successful candidate will be a high-quality application developer, primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software programs using the Laravel framework on a foundation of PHP.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working on Laravel projects and will be crucial in writing clean, testable code and collaborating within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Design and Development (Laravel/PHP) :

- Design, develop, and maintain software programs using PHP and the modern Laravel framework.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that is highly scalable and maintainable.

- Focus on designing and implementing testable and scalable code across all features and modules.

- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and internal coding standards.

Database and Frontend Integration :

- Design, integrate, and query relational data structures using database technologies such as MySQL.

- Apply knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to ensure seamless full-stack functionality.

Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance :

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues efficiently across the application stack.

- Implement effective testing strategies to ensure the robustness and reliability of the final software solution.

Collaboration and Process :

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, QA engineers) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Work comfortably and effectively within Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 1 to 4 years of professional experience in software development.

- Core PHP/Laravel : Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience working with the Laravel Framework on active projects, and 2 years experience in PHP.

- Database : Strong experience with database technologies such as MySQL.

- Frontend : Experience with fundamental front-end technologies : JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Methodology : Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.

- Education : B-Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks for PHP/Laravel.

- Knowledge of cloud deployment concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
