Laravel Developer

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer with strong backend expertise to build and maintain robust, scalable web applications.

This is a long-term remote opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys tackling challenges, and is passionate about writing clean and efficient code.

What You'll Be Doing :

- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable applications using Laravel 10 and PHP 8

- Design and consume RESTful APIs, including Shopify API and internal microservices

- Architect MySQL database schemas and write efficient queries and migrations

- Deploy and manage web applications on AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS

- Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

- Follow clean code principles and maintain comprehensive documentation

- Participate in pull requests, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices

- Troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently in production environments

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel (preferably version 9 or 10)

- Expertise in PHP 8, Laravel best practices, Eloquent ORM, and Blade templating

- Proficient with MySQL including database design, optimization, and complex joins

- Strong experience with Shopify API integration and webhook handling

- Comfortable working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch

- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

- Experience with OAuth, JWT, API token authentication, and data validation

- Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control using GitHub or GitLab

- Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail

Bonus Points If You Have :

- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

- Knowledge of unit testing and automated test frameworks

- Prior experience working on CRM, ERP, or healthcare systems
