Role : Backend Development (NodeJS)

Responsibilities :

- Implement real-time streaming (WebSockets/SSE) for bidirectional client-server communication.

- Design event-driven architecture using Kafka for message streaming and asynchronous processing.

- Build high-performance REST APIs for conversation management, context persistence, and user interactions using modern frameworks.

- Integrate and manage AI APIs for chat and assistant features.

- Optimize streaming pipelines and handle concurrent requests at scale.

- Implement response handling, context management, and data validation.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for conversation history and user data (PostgreSQL).

- Cache frequently accessed data and session state using Redis.

- Write comprehensive unit tests and ensure code quality.

- Containerize with Docker and deploy to cloud platforms.

- Handle rate limiting, authentication, and security for API integrations.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of Node.js and backend development.

- Expert TypeScript and JavaScript proficiency.

- Production experience with NestJS, HapiJS, or Fastify.

- PostgreSQL expertise with complex query optimization.

- Redis for caching and session management.

- Kafka for event streaming and message queue architecture.

- Real-time streaming (WebSockets and/or SSE).

- Unit testing and test-driven development experience.

- Experience building high-performance, scalable APIs.

- REST API design and asynchronous programming.

- Docker and cloud platform knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Git and debugging expertise.
