Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator L3 with strong expertise in SolarWinds administration, monitoring, automation, and ITSM integrations. The role will be responsible for managing enterprise monitoring infrastructure, optimizing alerting, and ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and administer SolarWinds NPM, SAM, NCM, and NetFlow/NTA.

- Perform platform upgrades, patching, maintenance, and health checks.

- Manage polling engines, additional pollers, and High Availability (HA) configurations.

- Configure proactive monitoring for servers, network devices, and applications.

- Define and maintain custom alerts, thresholds, escalation policies, and event correlation.

- Perform alert tuning and automation to reduce alert noise and improve monitoring efficiency.

- Develop customized dashboards, views, and operational reports for NOC, operations, and leadership teams.

- Create reports covering availability, performance, capacity, and trend analysis.

- Configure Business Service Monitoring (BSM) and service health views.

- Integrate SolarWinds with ServiceNow/ITSM platforms, email, SNMP traps, and syslog.

- Develop automation and operational workflows using PowerShell, APIs, and scripting.

- Implement auto-ticketing, event correlation, and automated incident workflows.

- Troubleshoot complex monitoring and infrastructure issues and provide L3 support.

Must-Have Skills:

- 8 - 12 years of experience in Systems Administration / Enterprise Monitoring.

- Strong hands-on experience with SolarWinds.

- Expertise in :

1. NPM - Network Performance Monitor

2. SAM - Server & Application Monitor

3. NCM - Network Configuration Manager

4. NetFlow / NTA - Traffic Analyzer

- Experience with SolarWinds upgrades, patching, health checks, pollers, and HA.

- Strong knowledge of alerts, thresholds, dashboards, reporting, and event correlation.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow/ITSM integration.

- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, APIs, and scripts.

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
