L3 Oracle Database Administrator - Performance Tuning

Job Title : Experienced Oracle DBA L3 Support

About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator to join our team as a Level3 support specialist. The role focuses on advanced performance tuning, highavailability architecture, and rapid resolution of critical production incidents.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform deepdive Oracle performance and SQL tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL Trace and TKPROF.

- Design, configure, and maintain Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard environments to ensure high availability and scalability.

- Lead Level3 production support, including Sev1 incident triage, rootcause analysis and timely remediation.

- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database workloads and implement best practices.

- Conduct capacity planning, health checks and proactive monitoring to prevent performance degradation.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning and SQL optimization.

- Handson experience with AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL Trace and TKPROF utilities.

- Indepth knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard architectures.

- Proven ability to handle L3 production support and Sev1 incident resolution.

- Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies, patching and upgrade processes.
