Role Overview :

The L3 OLVM Support Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) environments.

This role involves deep expertise in KVM-based virtualization, Oracle Linux, storage integration, cluster management, performance optimization, and incident/problem resolution.

The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teamsoperations, engineering, and architectureto ensure platform stability, scalability, and adherence to enterprise standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- 810+ years of experience in enterprise Linux/virtualization support.

Deep understanding of :

- Oracle Linux (OL7/8/9)

- KVM/QEMU hypervisor internals

- OLVM architecture and engine services

Strong knowledge of networking :

- Linux bridges, bonds, VLANs

- Open vSwitch

- Advanced NIC tuning

Solid grasp of storage technologies :

- Storage domains.

- SAN/NAS, multipath configuration, iSCSI, NFS

- Storage performance tuning

Familiarity with migration tools and strategies (VMware ? OLVM, KVM ? OLVM).

Tools & Technologies :

Proficiency with :

- Ansible automation

- Git/GitHub

- Python/Bash scripting

- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
