Role Overview :

As a Network L3 Engineer at Sysmind Tech PVT LTD, based in Mumbai, you will be a critical member of our network operations team, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructure solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with network architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure the seamless operation and security of our clients' networks. Your expertise will directly contribute to the stability, performance, and scalability of our clients' critical business applications and services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement complex network solutions, including routing, switching, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies, to meet client requirements and business objectives.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal network performance.

- Configure and maintain network security devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs, to protect client networks from cyber threats.

- Manage and optimize SD-WAN solutions, such as Aruba Edge Connect, to improve network performance and reduce WAN costs for clients.

- Implement and manage VLANs to segment networks and improve security.

- Administer and maintain Meraki network devices to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other IT systems.

- Implement and maintain SASE frameworks to enhance network security and performance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in network routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and STP.

- Proven ability to configure and manage firewalls from leading vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, or Fortinet.

- Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies, particularly Aruba Edge Connect, and their application in enterprise networks.

- Experience with Meraki network management platform.

- Solid understanding of VLAN configuration and management.

- Familiarity with SASE frameworks and their implementation.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- 5 to 8 years of experience in network administration and engineering.
